HERO NYS stands for Housing, Empowerment, Resources, Opportunities. The organization is being developed to help individuals and families navigate housing, food, healthcare, and other community resources across New York State — with headquarters in New York City.
We are in our formation stage. That means we are honest about where we are today — and intentional about where we are going. We are building an organization designed to serve the community with compassion, clarity, and accountability.

Our mission is to support Young Adults, Families and Veterans with housing navigation services, nutrition services and to gain access to community resources.
We aim to empower our clients to access the services and resources they need by embracing them with compassion, helping them overcome barriers and addressing immediate crises they may be facing all while promoting stability.
